It is an indoor shopping center, sort of an old fashioned shopping mall. Not very impressive, but one can shop here and buy a lot of things. We did not do that, we simply walked through. Just OK.

This is a great mall and a museum all in one. Shopping here is even more special during the holiday season. Not only is the mall full of seasonal decor but active activities for the children; carolers, etc…It gets very busy on the weekends in December so plan accordingly…go early!

It’s surprising this mall is rated so highly. Sure, it has high end shops which I guess is the most important thing, but the mall itself is barely above average. Is it nice? Sure, if you like sharp brick walls throughout and hard concrete floors. Some random seating benches and more concrete planters doesn’t do much to soften the harshness of the interior. And if that wasn’t bad enough, then you have the absolutely depressing duck and turtle ‘habitat’ which consists entirely of sterile tiled pond floor and concrete sides. The only stimulation these poor animals have (other than that of being stuck in the middle of a loud echo chamber of a mall) is some potted plants around the edge. They have zero natural stimulation except from the probable shear terror they feel on a daily basis. If this is the best North Dallas has to offer then that says all you need to know about North Dallas.

A gorgeous mall. Lots of options of shops for all. Many eateries. Not too crowded, airy and light. Great sculptures and artworks spread throughout, ensuring a luxurious shopping experience
