tripadvisorI had a decent solo stay overall, though it came with a mix of highs and lows. On the positive side, the room was pleasantly large—while it's an older-style property, having the extra space to myself was much appreciated. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was good. I was also pleasantly surprised by the older-style AC unit, which actually heated the room up really well. However, there were a few noticeable downsides. The breakfast experience was quite limited and could use improvement. Additionally, the night staff fell short when it came to a welcoming demeanor and explaining the various elements and amenities of the hotel, which would have been especially helpful arriving on my own late at night. With a warmer welcome and a better breakfast, this would be a much stronger recommendation.Rooms: 4/5Service: 2/5Sleep Quality: 4/5

MoreThis is an exceptionally clean and nicely appointed hotel, with a decent shopping and dining area nearby and easy access to highways and transit a couple of blocks walk. It was in fact, one of the cleanest hotels I’ve ever stayed in, although there was a long raven-coloured hair on one of the towels, but aside from that, spotless. The lobby is a trendy dormitory-style layout, with an open dining space. But at nearly $400 for a summer Saturday night you have to ask yourself – is it worth it? Boston is popular and gets a lot of tourists, including Europeans, so it’s an expensive city. Maybe for one night but if longer, consider looking farther from central Boston, unless of course you’re one of the Vanderbilts.
MoreEverything was fine. We were here during the World Cup and the TVs in the rooms literally did not have World Cup coverage (no Fox channel). So frustrating.
MoreGood hotel no complains stayed for national vball tournament Has microwave coffee maker Mini fridge Nice lobby has a decent size bar and good gym
