My wife and I toured the Piquette Avenue Plant yesterday, 11/5/23. It was fabulous. The physical structure has been cleaned up and repaired. Still more to do. They have great plans in place for 2025 or 26. Dozens and dozens of examples of the lettered cars that were built there, most in concours condition. The tour and 15 minute background video was two hours, it went by very quickly, I wish it was another 30-45 minutes long, there was just so much interesting historical information. Put it on your bucket list. We’re glad we went, you will be to.

For this iconic site to be in such disrepair AND to add insult to injury have a Historica Marker on its lawn makes a reasonable person shrug their shoulders and shake their head in disbelief.

Very very sad to see the neglect given to an absolute historic gem. I can't believe what has been allowed to happen here. Let's turn one of the most legendary, important factories in the history of man into a stupid Forman Mills store. SMH.....

It was fun to come here and see where Ford Motor Company changed how we manufacture products around the world. It's too bad the building hasn't been converted into a museum, it's certainly relevant enough to American History. Still it was fun to walk & drive around the buildings.
