Paleteria Michoacana de Paquime is an authentic Mexican ice cream shop where dozens and dozens of flavors of popsicles and ice cream are offered at inexpensive prices. Try tamarind, tres leches, mango with chile, or take a gamble on a fruit you've never heard of. If the selection is too unfamiliar and overwhelming, you can try asking the staff questions, although some of them are not bilingual. Paleteria Michoacana de Paquime is housed in a bright yellow building, painted with tantalizing depictions of the goodies available inside, making it impossible to miss.
