tripadvisorWe saw I Need That at this theater. It's a beautiful old theater which is also on the small side. We were in the very last row of the balcony and had an excellent view. Due to it's small size and the steepness of the seating, I don't think there's a bad seat. The acoustics were also very good. I heard everything very clearly.
MoreWent here this evening to see the next-to-the-last performance of Birthday Candles which was a sweet, lovely play with Debra Messing as the lead. The theater is beautiful, and also comfortable. The orchestra seats were downright spacious for Broadway theaters! Even if you are a significantly plus-sized patron, you will fit comfortably in the width of these seats. However, I can't speak to legroom in the rows, as we sat in the first row and so had all the legroom we could want. You can take an elevator up to the 5th floor where there is a large lounge area with plenty of tables and chairs where you can relax until the house opens. There is also a balcony overlooking the street. There were bathrooms on both the 5th floor level and the orchestra level. All of the staff was friendly and efficient. Overall, a very well managed house.
MoreAA is the main stage for Roundabout Theater Company. Easy access and stellar productions in the heart of Manhattan!
MoreTechnically renamed The Roundabout Theatre/American Airlines. Lots of dollars to refurbish. Small in scale, on two floors with comfortable seating. We sat in top box and you cannot see the stage on the left. For a musical, this is definitely not where you want to be. But for a comedy/drama, it’s not too bad.
MoreVery accessible. Comfortable seats. Safe exits. great acoustics, convenient bar, good location for taxis.
