First visit to this theater built in 1934 named the Crown Jewel of Montgomery County. It was a night performance and you can see the noticeably upgraded downtown view as you drive into town. 5/5 A further website dive uncovered Conroe restored downtown in 1999- bricked sidewalks, new lampposts, and lighting along the building fronts. The Crighton Theater also boasts renovations with beautiful lighting, comfortable lobby benches and theater seats, snack concessions, and women’s restrooms with possibly 10 stalls. Don’t dabble around during intermission, a long restroom line develops quickly. New chair sponsorships available, “Take a Seat For The Chrighton” with 3 levels of sponsorship available. Contact the theater for more details. “A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder”is an amazing musical with an outstanding cast with dynamic voices and lots of humor. 5/5 Production set staffers worked tirelessly throughout the performance. 5/5“This Tony Award-winning musical comedy follows Monty Navarro, a poor member of a 1907 noble family who is determined to access their fortune by any means necessary, even if that means murder. If he can get eight relatives out of the way, he could even be an earl!!”

I LOVED Grease. Yes it was the raunchy version but you were forewarned about it before the show began. That cast had so many obstacles that came up last minute and I am super proud of how they handed themselves and came together as a family to get th job done.I went to see it multiple times as i had a kid in the production and I know how hard they worked and they deserved to have a sold-out show for every performance.

Grease the musical was the worst performance I have ever seen at the Creighton. It was the ranchy version. The characters did not have any chemistry. The musical portion was very good but that was all. Keeping in mind that this is set in a High School, the language used and the sexy comments was not appropriate. It did not make the play funny, just worse. I almost left at intermission but wanted to see the ending and was very disappointed. Again no chemistry. I would not recommend it. Usually the plays at the Creighton are amazing. Not this on.

Very cute theater, with small intimate setting. Great seats. If taking small children, consider bringing a booster seat or sitting a little farther back, as the front seats tend to be fairly low relative to the stage. We enjoyed our first visit there.

Fantastic Renovation of a Classical 1934 Theater! We enjoyed MASH .... Great fun on a Sunday afternoon of live theater. The new lobby area and restrooms. Wow job well done. The actors really engaging. The playhouses staff and volunteers are so friendly and their to assist patrons.
