tripadvisorHaving been season ticket holders for eight years I can honestly say I have never been disappointed…except in the fact that the 212 seats have never been sold out. The selections presented are all terrific, entertaining and often thought provoking. The acting is full of top notch performances. There really isn’t a bad seat in the house since they are arranged in a semicircle and there are only six rows. The sets are fun and well designed and the costumes are so well done. Dayton is lucky to have this little gem of a theater and the Human Race Theater Company to fill it with excellent productions..P.S. they did recently convert the restrooms to Unisex with Urinals and Unisex without Urinals, and it isn’t a problem. The 99% of the population who is not transgender know which one to use.
MoreI like The Loft theatre. It's a nice size and most every seat gives you a good view. We especially like seats F8 and 9, left or right due to them being set off to themselves a bit. But what the heck with the communal unisex bathrooms? This was a new addition to the last I was there. The previous Men's Room sign has been replaced with a unisex with urinals and the previous Women's Room sign is now Unisex without urinals sign. Mind you, this is not a single unisex bathroom (no issue at all there). This is multiple toilets that are unisex. Politically correct, fine, sure. But when it comes to using the restroom, I prefer not to use a toilet with the opposite sex in the next stall.
