Price gouging. No breakfast. No coffee in lobby. Staff holding personal conversations behind desk instead of helping customers. Our room was clean and quiet but we will never stay here again. We thought price gouging was illegal. Mariott uses dynamic pricing. Beware.
MoreI've stayed at a dozen Marriott properties across US this year. This property was not on par with others1. We were unable to manage heating or cooling to a temperature other than 69F. We turned thermostat off to achieve the temperature we were seeking.2. Charging $10 for parking is acceptable if there is a parking structure or attendant. This property has neither. They should be adding $10 to the nightly price, but this would negatively impact reservations.3. Breakfast was not included with room. This is customary for other Marriott properties except those that don't have kitchens. We ate at Love's instead.4. Light fixture on table pulsed. No one could have verified functionality of this lamp as part of room maintenance.I would not recommend this property to others; however it remains better than a Motel 6.
MoreRun-down, dirty, and very disappointing for a Marriott. The bathroom had mold, cracked tile joints, a worn door, and even hygiene issues. This property needs renovation.
Morebooked hotel in emergent scenario - my brother was fighting for his life airlifted from Durango, CO to Grand Junction St. Mary's hospital, CO. booked late and i was to tired to drive up at 9pm...got charged for no show. i called the next morning and explained. Victor said he took care of the reservation for my arrival the next day. was scary couple days. did not know how long i would be there, so told them may need to extend my stay based upon the doctors unsure of my brothers condition. was able to take my brother back home the next day. got charged for 1st night no show...they said they would refund. and got charged for the extra night that i may have needed to stay for. very frustrated, will not stay there again
