We returned to the downtown area of Santa Cruz, which is called Pacific Garden Mall. There are a variety of movies, stores, museums, movie theaters and other things to see.

The main street in Santa Cruz is excellent to stroll down. Pacific Ave has wide sidewalks and is full of interesting things. There are street musicians and artists entertaining those who might take a minute. The book store is superb!!There are two movie theaters showing the latest releases. It has a great assortment of mostly small shops. It also has a nice assortment of restaurants and coffee shops. It even has a great little grocery store. The street has park benches and lots of trees. It is one of my favorite down towns and such a pleasure to walk.

We had a fun day seeing movies at the Del Mar, and then going to explore the various stores. We also purchased some cookies at Pacific Cookie Company.

I have lived in Santa Cruz my whole life and out of all the places i've traveled, different states and such, the Pacific Garden Mall is my favorite place in the whole world

We came back to stroll the mall and find something to eat. Lots of good places here and the stroll is pleasant This is the traditional center of town.
