I love coming to this library - it does a perfect job of creating a good reading environment while still providing space for play. There's a large kids' area with toys and space for movement, and there's a lot of color and warmth. There's a tremendous number of books here (some libraries have a very small selection), and the staff are superb. There's also a computer room and space for meetings/other gatherings. The one drawback is that there's no free parking available, so we need to park in one of the garages or search for street parking.

Throughout COVID I got books from the WeHa library - they made arrangements for outside table pickup, and have 15 minute designated parking on the street. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. First class operation and a jewel for the City of West Hartford.

I have used many libraries over the years and am very pleased with all the services at this one. Computer room, separate children area, meeting rooms, lectures, clubs, and so very much more. Teen room is nice, staff is very helpful and knowledgeable.

Good events and programs for kids and adults. Staff are always helpful and knowledgeable. The reading rooms are wonderful places to concentrate or enjoy thumbing through...
