I used three months of IG rewards to stay here for a week on business. The hotel looked nice at first, but the stay went downhill fast.On night two, a guest and I found what looked like coffee beans mixed with rat droppings on the side of the bed I hadn't slept in. I was moved to another room immediately.That room wasn't much better. A makeup rag was left on the sink, and when I picked it up while packing to leave, it was wet with dirty paper towels underneath. I also don't think my sheets were changed once during the entire six-day stay.Overall, this hotel tries to appear upscale but the housekeeping standards are nowhere near what IG usually provides. Easily one of my worst IG stays.

Bathrooms are falling apart, no breakfast included even though your paying a high price, employees are static and not helpful. We are on the tail end of our 10 day long roadtrip and this hotel was by far the least satisfactory. Other hotels we stayed at were much nicer, cleaner, newer, and included drinks and meals at the same price as this hotel. Would not recommend. You feel like you got ripped off when you stay at this hotel.

I have stayed at IHG properties before and expected much better customer service than I received from Crowne Plaza Greenville.My AirPods were in a purse in my room. When I arrived at the airport, after checked out, I realized they were no longer there, and when I checked Find My, their last known location showed the hotel. I made a claim with GM and hotel sent me a replacement, which I appreciated at first. Unfortunately, the replacement AirPods did not work correctly. I visited an Apple Store, where I was informed that they did not have a serial number, did not display the normal Bluetooth settings, and Apple could not provide support or warranty service.I was not requesting money or additional compensation. My only request was for a copy of the purchase receipt so I could contact the retailer and pursue a warranty claim myself. Despite multiple requests, the hotel never provided the receipt.When I contacted IHG Guest Relations, they simply supported the hotel’s decision and closed my case without addressing my actual request.What disappointed me the most was not the original mistake, but the lack of customer service afterward. Problems can happen anywhere, but how a hotel responds is what truly matters. In my case, there was no meaningful effort to resolve the issue.I travel to Greenville regularly to visit family, but after this experience, I will choose another hotel for future visits.

The hotel was very centrally located. The staff at the front desk, Peyton , were very friendly. The room was clean just very dated. Our bathroom door wouldn’t close. We just stopped in for one night while traveling so it was fine.
