AJ multi instrument talent was phenomenal. He played the piano like Mozart. The concert was reminiscent of a fireside chat in a piano bar. The stage was simple with 3 band members and in a laid back, relaxed manner he chatted with the audience. He spoke fast and took requests. He is highly intelligent and there was truth to people like to hear hits snd not originals. He is deserving of a full arena concert. His talent was oozing off the charts. He played hits father's hits and some of his originals. AJ went blind from his mother's boyfriends horrific abuse. I wonder why was his mother not there to protect him. He regained eyesight in one eye a few years later.

Wow! He still has the goods and a tremendously strong voice. Most of all, he is an entertainer. The concert was a mixture of songs an story telling. Very interesting and captivating person/ He has a heart of gold and seemed very down to earth.

Absolutely everything about it was wonderful. In a smaller town like Prescott, it’s sheer delight to have a high-caliber performing arts center at Yavapai College. The voices, music, orchestration, acting, stage direction and scene settings blew my mind! Encore!

My wife and I attended the first concert of the second season of the Arizona Symphony. The halls acoustics were not that great, but the seats were large and comfortable.

The only thing that is a shame, is whoever designed the acoustics. I understand that maybe they didn't know about any of the industry standard options like Meyer Sound, BFL or the like, but the science and tools of acoustics are evolved enough that they didn't have to go with a design that so dramatically sacrifices acoustic quality for throw. You no longer have to engineer to minimize the number of bad seats as a top priority as they very obviously did at Yavapai. Also, really bad choices on the amps and monitors for that space too. Shrill, unbalanced and huge amounts of comb filtering. Maybe they didn't realize-- who knows? (anyone know who did the acoustics and the audio integration there???) It really can be brought up a quite a bit without resorting to anything major structurally, so that they best sound for anything over 85 dB isn't out in the hallways. BTW, for anyone who has not been in a modern properly designed space this may seem okay. However, I was far from alone when I have moved to the outside waiting area to give my ears and head a break from the bad acoustics. It was a real shame to see 10 other people out there during the Peter Frampton concert with the exact same need. At least we were able to joke about it.
