Pease Park Park

This fantastic little park, located near the Hyde Park district, is a favorite for dog lovers. As one of the few places in Austin where dogs can run unleashed, expect to be outnumbered by man's best friend. Former Texas governor Elijah Pease owned the property that now bears his name. Pease Park also has disc golf (similar to traditional golf but played with frisbees) and hosts the annual Eeyore's Birthday Party festival.

This is truly a wonderful little park with incredible playgrounds for kids, including a splash pad! The playgrounds were very cool with all kinds of natural elements. Parking is very limited. We had no problems going during the week though. We mainly came for Malin and she did not disappoint! Pass the playgrounds and head down the trail. She is located right after the concrete (less than 1/3 of a block) to your left. We were stunned there was no signage. We were very thankful to have a snowcone there during the heat, at the edge of the final playground. There was also a Mexican food truck there. Lots of grass to play with your pup. There is also a basketball court.

Beautiful park for outdoor fun. Great trails for walking, running or cycling. Large play area for kids and dogs. Splash pad for children only. Large playscape. Huge tree house. Beautiful troll sculpture. Just a lot of fun in nature. Taco truck, snow cone stand on site. Nice bathrooms.

Austin’s oldest public park is such an asset to the city and its citizens. The staff has brought it to life for this generation. The Danish troll is incredible. I loved watching the splash park and those enjoying it. The tree house is so unique and fun for all ages. There are many programs available as well as a chance to enjoy nature in the middle of a city. Great experience. Kudos to those who make this happen

Austin has grown way too much, and it’s overcrowded. We wanted to go to this park and Zilker also, but there was no parking

What brought me to this park was finding the wooden troll and I found it. I also saw the big tree house. There was a snow cone truck that was getting ready to open up. Plenty of games to do like Corn hole and nice walking path with a stream of water running through it. People were friendly and there is a part on the walking path that dogs are able to be off leash.
