Nonprofit Ambler Theater The Ambler Theater is a nonprofit, community-based movie theater that specializes in independant, art, and foreign films. We are also one of the region's premier cinema destinations, offering, in addition to our regular programming, a variety of special events ranging from Saturday Kid's Matinees to classic Hollywood films. We regularly present local filmmakers and host discussion groups and lectures. The Ambler Theater is owned and run by Ambler Theater, Inc, a 501 (c ) nonprofit corporation. Last night I saw the exorcist on old 35 mm filmtonight it will be psychoThe ambler theatre should have a BLOB fest like th e one in phoeinix ville, show the steve mcqueen movie and have every one run out of the theatre screaming and then go to one of bars for a round or two.Also for halloween t hey sho uld have an old car show where all the cars are funeral hearses and flower cars , or old gangster cars w ith every one dressed in pin stripe suits and flapper girls or carrying a violin case with a pl astic tommy water gun which shoots jim beam whiskey

MoreI attended a special event at the theater and was suprised that it was so much larger inside than it appeared. The seats were comfortable and one did not have a problem viewing the screen. While it does not have its own free parking, that is adquate street parking nearby.
