I usually plan all my own trips, but with it being Alaska, I decided to let someone handle logistics. This tour was everything I had hoped it would be and more. A good mix of hiking and general sightseeing, and Nicole was a fantastic tour guide!

Get Up & Go Tours is the bomb! We just got back from the Family Adventure tour where we hiked, kayaked, trekked on a glacier, zip-lined, and took a day cruise where we watched a calving glacier and saw more whale than I could count. We also saw puffins, orcas, bears, sea lions, and so much more. We stayed in quaint little cabins next to the water. At every turn, I was in awe of what I was seeing and doing. Best of all, Get Up & Go did ALL THE WORK! The entire trip was perfectly planned and executed. And our guide, Ray — holy cow! He was so genuine and kind and knowledgable. He took the time to get to know us as individuals and treated us like family — intuitively picking up on each of our unique needs and preferences. He made us great meals, taught us a ton about Alaska, and kept us all on track. I seriously cannot imagine a better guide!!!

The Alaskan Explorer is a wonderful affordable opportunity for adventurous people to experience Alaska. The guide made sure everyone was comfortable and satisfied, as well as providing exciting activities daily. The guide's mannerism with people and staying ahead of the planning, as well as his expertise in crafting healthy meals and explaining the agenda was superb. The active options were for physically fit, moderately fit, and slower moving levels of ability. The communication and correspondence received during registration was timely and professional. I could not have has a better experience with other companies that provide the quality and adventure that Get Up and Go provides.

We took our family of eleven, with ages ranging from 3 to 79 on the Family Explorer tour and it was the trip of a lifetime. I labored over how to do our Alaska adventure, and decided on Get Up and Go!, which was without reservation such a perfect fit for us. Our guide was so much fun, so accommodating, handled all the details, was flexible with any special needs and situations that arose, made the entire trip, stress free and such fun. We loved the activities we did. The lodging was one of my favorite things about the trip, with cabins by lakes and with grand mountain views and places for kids to run and play. I cannot say enough about the tour and feel like it was a great value, as well.
