We were visiting Boise and decided we wanted to bicycle 40 km to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary! We went to George’s Cycles on State Street to rent bicycles for the day. The staff there was excellent and very helpful! They fit us to our bikes and made sure we were fully comfortable before we took them for the day. Parking there was free and plentiful and we could easily access the Boise River Greenbelt Trail from there! We had a BLAST and would do it again in a heartbeat! Thank you for helping us have a memorable anniversary!

Boise is a beautiful and very fitness oriented city. There are many hiking trails to hike or mountain bike on. The Boise River Green Belt is a 25 mile paved trail and a great place to bike along side the Boise River. George's Cycles, a nice bicycle shop in Boise, has a nice selection of bike rentals and is right around the corner from the bike path. The staff was very good at assisting customers with a bike to fit their size and cycling needs. They also host the Bogus Basin Hill Climb; a challenging bike ride to the top of Bogus Basin is you are a serious rider! Check out George's Cycles for all of your cycling needs.
