As a veterinarian, I had always wanted to visit the Hagyard Equine Medical Institute. The campus and organization are large and impressive. The 58 veterinarians that work there see over 25,000 cases each year. It originated in 1876 and is now the largest equine hospital in the world. Hope and Kylie were great tour guides and answered all of my detailed questions. Go to Kentucky and take this tour.

Fabulous and informative. Highly recommend. Learned so much , and everyone we interacted with was so kind. We were even able to peek in on an equine shoulder surgery in progress. I’ve attached pictures of the hyperbaric oxygen therapy suite . I’ve been twice now and both times I learned so much from their staff.

We took our 13 year-old granddaughter, an equine enthusiast and rider, on the Hagyard tour as part of her birthday celebration. We all enjoyed learning about the impressive scope of your organization as well as the multi-generational leadership that continues. Hope did a fantastic job walking us through and explaining everything clearly. Thank you!

Very informative session. Tour guide was extremely knowledgeable of the facility and all of the equine activities and statistics of the area and equine life and business in that area. Witnessed prepping prior to surgery, and met several staff along the way. A valuable learning experience!

Our family enjoyed our tour very much! It is a wonderful facility and we appreciate you sharing it with us. Our daughter is a pre-veterinary student and was excited to hear about the opportunities available at Hagyard.
