Lots and lots of room. Several shelters w/grills. Tennis courts & basketball courts. Kids play areas with plenty of things for them to do.
MoreFor spending some time outdoor with family or friends this is a good place. There are tennis courts and other amenities and some access to the water but more for the crew clubs than the public. Sunny and shady places available. I wish people would pick up their straws, cigarette stubs etc. as there are plenty of trash cans around.
MoreCentral city location in an upscale neighborhood. Lots of free parking. Lots of room to picnic, hit fungoes, spin a frisbee, and run your dog.
MoreLakewood has baseball fields, tennis courts, family areas with tables for rent and excellent climbing playground equipment. Ancient trees provide lots of atmosphere and there are clean rest rooms. Highly recommended.
