When I lived in Phoenix would attend TAS regularly with season tix. All the shows were excellent with actors as good as one would see on the London or NY stage. Just went back to visit pals and saw Stella and Lou and the quality of performances and even the clever budget sets are still outstanding. It's the main reason I would visit Phoenix. Much kudos to Carol Macleod the TAS Artistic Director.

I just saw “Red,” an extraordinary production in its final showing at TAS. The quality at The Artist’s Studio has always been high, in my experience, and it just keeps getting better. Today’s sold out performance was exceptional. Sooooo good. Can’t wait for the next production!

Theatre Artists Studio is truly a gem in the Phoenix area's artistic community. If you're looking for a special live theatre experience, you'll find it here, with extraordinary local actors, directors and many others lending their considerable talents and time to dramas, comedies, musicals and sometimes original works - all of high professional quality. I've attended many of their performances and enjoyed them all.

Its local...local actors, directors, staff, crew and often the play writers. It's national because the plays often unique and often drawn from New York, L.A. and around the country. It needs local support!

Small theatre with professional quality work. Only about 100 seats and the productions are always different. Their latest production 'Ripcord' is a tour de force and has received great reviews. I attend this theatre about 10 times a year.
