The therapists were very nice, but the crazy thing is that after the massages, I couldn't walk for 3 days (my feet are a point of soreness and the way the therapist 'dug' into the side of my foot left me literally limping at work for 3 days); my husband's hip was massaged where it was tight and his hip continues to hurt to this day (it has been several months),and my daughter's back was massaged to get out the knots and she was in pain for the following week. Not sure what happened, but with all three of us having post-massage injuries, I don't expect to return to this location.

I needed help to relieve some tension that has built up from all of the stress at work. Great choice, I feel much better.

I would like to question the cancellation charge policy of Massage envy:I have been a monthly paying member of massage envy for years. I cancelled my appointment one time as there was a personal emergency that I could not avoid. I was charged Cancellation Fees! However, however- check out the double standards on how they handle clients. I have been canceled twice by their therapists the same day, actually within couple of hours of appointment. No follow up call asking to reschedule. No credits or favors for messing up my schedule. Yes, I am a very busy working professional where my time is as precious as their therapists. Just the way I am charged for cancellation, should I not be charging them?????

I have been a member here since they opened 10 years ago under the old ownership. The location is clean and tranquil. All the therapists that I see are remarkable. And whenever one of my regulars is not available, I am always surprised to find another great one. The rooms are private, dark, and the temperature to your liking. And the prices are reasonable too.

I typically go to the Oswego location, but I made an appointment at the South Naperville location because it's more convenient on my way home from work. The girl I spoke with on the phone booked my appointment for a female therapist for a 50-minute massage for the next day. When I showed up, they didn't have an appointment booked for me...nobody to accommodate me, no apology, nothing! I am the type of person who completely understands when mistakes happen - no business is perfect. But it was handled in such a way that the mix up was my fault and that I must have just called the wrong location. (even after I showed her their number in my dialed numbers on my phone). Very frustrating, will not return to this location.
