tripadvisorI can’t support a company that would completely fire all of their dancers for wanting to unionize and provide themselves with the respect and working conditions they deserve.Absolutely deplorable management that has no business in the arts.
MoreThey fired all their dancers (for violation of company policy) after the dancers unionized. This is why all the comments on their social media are turned off.
MoreSunday November 5th@230pm was the place to be for the most SPECTACULAR PERFORMANCES thus far. I love attending the Dallas Black Dance because they are always on point. The dancers get better and better and I have been attending at least 10 yrs now. The Directors Choice that me, my sister in law, and girlfriend saw was off the chain, from beginning to the end, and in the middle they did a runway of the costumes, modeling for real! They did 'Ghost', 'Tower, two acts of 'Territory, and a couple more. The dancers were focused, funny, familiar with each other, their strenghns matched each others. The venue inside was nice, the seats comfortable(lime green chairs). We set orchestra left seats 103 104 105. Awesome, Amazing! You could pre-pay park in the Lexus Silver parking for $12 Or just show up and pay $17, there is also free parking near the school campus(if you arrive early)and across the street behind the church its $6(card only). They serve drinks-wine, beer, soda, water and light snacks from $4 to $12 . All this helps the theatre so you cant go wrong.
