Bates Catering is a family-owned Oregon catering company specializing in BBQ, weddings, private events, corporate gatherings, festivals, and large-scale events. From intimate celebrations to gatherings of 400 guests, our team works with each client to create a menu and service plan that fits the occasion. Our roots are in Eugene, where Bates Steakhouse & Saloon became known for steaks, BBQ, hearty Northwest-inspired food, and banquet service. Today, Bates Catering brings that same focus on generous portions, flavorful food, and personal service to events throughout Oregon. We offer a wide range of catering options, including BBQ, smoked meats, steaks, chicken, seafood, sides, appetizers, vegetarian options, and customized menus. Our team can work with clients on everything from menu planning and tastings to food service and event logistics. Bates Catering also has extensive experience serving public festivals, university events, corporate gatherings, weddings, and private celebrations. We are proud to have served events and organizations throughout Oregon, including large community festivals and events connected with the University of Oregon.
