Our mission is to empower every Club member, through safe and impactful experiences to: graduate high school with a plan for college or a career, contribute to their community, and live a healthy life. Established in 1963, BGCV meets the needs of over 4,300 youth ages 5-18 regularly at five program sites serving youth residing primarily in Vista and Oceanside, California. BGCV is open "when kids need us most" - after school, on most school holidays and during the summer. BGCV offers safe places designed just for kids where they can learn, grow, and succeed for an entire childhood. Club programs help kids build healthy habits for life and how to be resilient leaders through mentorship, accountability and modeling good behavior. Programs include daily onsite and virtual academic enrichment & mentoring activities, sports & games, music and character leadership programs.
