We really enjoy visiting the Greenbelt. It has something for everyone and many activities are free or low cost. There is a fitness center, regulation soccer field, hiking trails, beautiful streams and ponds, birds and wildlife, 18 hole golf course, a nature center, and much more. All ages are welcome.

No major views but plenty of bucolic wooded landscapes. 5-6 visits and the central portion can be memorized. Various loops can be combined for a variety of mileages. Trails are maintained. Muddy in early spring. There are some layman's trails signs but a general familiarity with trails navigation is recommended. Get a map at the Nature Center at Rockland and Brielle.

Many trails to follow, this is a great place to commune with nature. The woods are wonderful, but this is not a challenging hiking trail as you might find upstate NY or the Delaware Water Gap.
