The Grand Hotel was beautiful and outstanding in every way. From the moment we walked into the hotel, the staff was very friendly and kind. The room was spotless and comfortable, the food (both room service and the on-site steakhouse) was delicious, and the experience was what anyone would hope for in a hotel. This hotel has my highest recommendation.

MoreMy sister-in-law and I stayed here for our McKinney trip. We enjoyed being able to stay downtown so that we did not have to drive much since most of the places we went were downtown. Very nice hotel, great atmosphere. We were able to do valet parking for $7 which was nice. The staff were all very friendly. A few negatives: AC wasn’t cooling as we would have liked, however, there was a huge ceiling fan that kept the room cool. There was a lot of hallway noise throughout the night, however, we were there at the same time a big wedding party was there. Personal preference: the bed wasn’t as soft as I would have liked. Overall though, we would probably stay here again.
MoreEnjoy the Grand Hotel, especially the location to food, fun, shops and music.This trip I stayed at the Annex, which are five rooms on the 2nd floor in a building across the street for the main hotel. The rooms are spacious and clean. If you are staying more than 3 days it's definitely a benefit to have the extra space, especially since the main hotel rooms do not have microwaves or refrigerators.Rooms were quiet as the floor you are on has businesses which close at 5 pm.Pros:Clean, spacious, nice location and quietCons: 1. There is a kitchenette but no supplies! No paper towels, dish soap, dish cloth, utensils. The hotel website does not state this & they should either provide some minimal supplies or state this when someone books these rooms. 2. Bathroom has one small hook by the shower! There is tons of wall space for a shelf, towel bar and more hooksHotel managers/owners need to stay in their own rooms & spend some time looking at that room from the point of view of a customer.I will stay here again, atmosphere, bar and restaurant are great and staff is very nice and helpful.
MoreWonderful experience with our first time at The Grand Hotel. We stayed in historic McKinney for a wedding we attended at D'Vine Grace Vineyards (about a 20 minute Uber ride). Room was very comfortable and fully updated. Great location and close to everything!
