tripadvisorThe room and the hotel was deplorable. We were in room 100. There was a big cockroach outside our room when we were leaving in the morning. There was also a cockroach in the dining area, which stopped my breakfast quickly! The gal that checked us in could not have been less friendly. She never told us what time breakfast was, however, she did write 6-10 on the key envelope, which I assumed was breakfast time. This hotel was in very bad shape. When we tried to call the front desk in the morning that the shower was not working, the phone was not working. My husband had to get dressed to go to the front desk. Good news - maintenance came immediately and fixed both the phone and the shower. What a mess, not to mention inconvenience. I opted not to shower as there was a big crack in the tub. Disgusting!Yes, I did write to Comfort Suites. I got the stock letter thanking for letting them know. As I told the person at the front desk, “if room 100 is atypical of other rooms in the hotel, it should never be used. If it’s typical of all rooms, this hotel should be shut down. And all of this for almost $150 out the door! I even sent photos.
MoreI’m a truck driver, and I ended up having to stay overnight. Honestly, I highly recommend this place—it offers great value for the price. The location is excellent, with good restaurants nearby and a truck stop close by as well. It’s clean, and the service is top-notch; the hotel staff treat you wonderfully. They even offer a shuttle service from the Peterbilt dealership, so I definitely recommend it!
MoreHorrible experience. The front desk staff is very judgemental. They talk about guests. It isn't in a great location. I think 1 mecican resteraunt and a couple of fast food places.
MoreThis is a really nice Comfort Inn. They appear to have recently upgraded the carpeting but haven't replaced the moldings yet. The staff were friendly, professional and welcoming. The only problem we found was very limited parking for the amount of guests that they might have.
MoreWe stayed one night in a King room, #310, right next to the elevator at the Comfort Inn East outside of Knoxville. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room had a nice desk and the bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows. There was very little noise from the elevator. The free hot breakfast was very good - eggs, extra large sausage patties, biscuits & gravy, toast, bagels, muffins, yogurt, fruit, cold cereals, 2 waffle makers, coffee and juices and more. We enjoyed supper at Aubrey's and cheap gas at Pilot.
