Pendergrass Academy of Martial Arts is the only certified school in Wake Forest that offers black belt instruction of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ). We offer BJJ programs for men, women, teens, and youth. Both the self defense and competition aspect of BJJ is taught at this academy. This includes not only traditional gi (uniform) training, but also no-gi submission grappling. Within our youth program (Kid Jitsu) we provide character development as part of our overall curriculum. These can include bullyproofing, respect, confidence building, and a host of other important areas.
