tripadvisorInn is located across the street from Baystate Medical Center in a residential house so is convenient for those who have business at the hospital. Price is reasonable for a room and homemade breakfast. Breakfast is served in a small kitchen and is a little cramped for space but offers a nice chance to meet the other guests. Each room is individually decorated and ours was small but comfortable and clean. It’s located in a residential area so you have to drive to get to restaurants as it is not walkable to downtown. Ample parking space in the back.
MoreWe had our first stay at Naomi’s and we certainly will stay again when we have a chance. I can’t say enough about the total experience. Naomi’s exemplifies the true bed and breakfast. Our host and her family have poured 25 years of love and talent into a traditional Springfield home, creating a warm and unique environment showcasing the host’s artistic talent. Her talent is displayed in hand drawn artwork creating nostalgic and whimsical themes in various parts of the home. Our breakfast was delicious and provided the opportunity to meet and enjoy the other guests while dining on a grand piano converted to a spacious dining room table. Our room was spacious and provided every amenity we needed. Having endured the cookie cutter AirBnBs the last several years, it was a pleasure to return to the traditional bed and breakfast! We look forward to our next visit!`
MoreI went to Springfield to attend the Big E by myself. I would be leaving it a bit late in the evening, and Red Roof Inn seemed a bit sketchy for a small female. I was going to go to La Quinta but then I saw the picture of the Louis XIV Suite at Naomi's and I just knew I had to stay there. It was very close to the venue and I did not have a problem finding it or parking. Got in quickly with the key code and went right upstairs to the room, and again used a key code. It was nice not having to worry about finding a clerk or worrying about a late check-in. I didn't hear any sirens from the hospital across the street either. I had a good breakfast and it looked like a gourmet made it. Also enjoyed the camaraderie with other guests that you do not get when you go to get breakfast in a big chain hotel lobby. I did not notice the beautiful front porch until I was leaving but I want to make this my go to once a year when I go to the Big E and maybe even before then because I loved the place so much, very cool and quaint and fun. And I thought they went the extra mile for me.
MoreMy wife and I stayed with Marcie at Naomi's Bed and Breakfast after attending a concert at Tanglewood in Lenox. We were able to check in prior to the concert to leave our bags and meet Marcie . She provided us with the keypad codes to the Inn and our room so we were able to let ourselves in late night after the show and not disturb her or other guests. We stayed in Anthonys Room which was beautiful with comfy sleigh bed and a private bath. But best of all was the delicious breakfast that Marcie made for us in the morning. It started with a rich cup of coffee as we sat in a unique breakfast room where the walls are blackboards. These are adorned with Alice in Wonderland scenes drawn by our host and happy comments from previous guests. We were then served the lightest fluffy scrambled eggs I have ever eaten mixed with cheese, garden peppers and crispy ham. The eggs were accompanied by a yummy apple coffee cake. Our meal was eaten around a piano/breakfast bar with four other guests that led to easy conversation among us all. I would highly recommend a stay with Marcie in her inn named for her daughter when she was three years old. Naomi is now twenty seven which demonstrates our host's love and dedication to her Inn! We will definitely return!
MoreLovely, whimsical, and clean. Delicious breakfast. Spacious and comfy rooms. Private bath. Easy to find and ample parking in the back. Marcy makes incredible coffee cake! We will definitely be coming the next time we are in the area.
