Whether you are in search of a quick buy for a day out on the beach or looking for souvenirs to bring back home, you can find it among the many shops and restaurants in this bustling oceanfront area. Here, you can pick up an OC sweatshirt to emulate those moody walks by the waves or get the kids some toy shovels to build expert sand castles. Then, stop by one of the many kiosks for a fruit smoothie for the ride home, but before you go, make sure to walk out to the end of the pier for some great views of Catalina Island and the surrounding beaches.

MoreFrom the pier you get a great view of the Newport beach coastline. The pier itself is nothing special – but a nice walk, nonetheless. There are restaurants near the pier area. We were only here for about 15 minutes, but it seems like a nice place to stay longer.
MoreNewport Beach and pier are just lovely. Lots of activity all the time. The boardwalk along the beach is beautiful. It is so fun to watch all the surfers from the pier. Everything is nice and clean and there are alot of shops and eateries located nearby. It is a fun place to visit!
MoreStayed at Baycrest Court with my late Aunt She took us everywhere we loved Balboa Island which is beautiful and only minutes from Newport Beach Rubys Diner on the pier was gorgeous Also Laguna Beach which is absolutely gorgeous also Huntington and Redondo Beach which as a restaurant and bar called Tony on the pier which is great you buy a few drinks and you get a souvenir glass to come away with. We also took the Surfliner train to San Diego which was worth the vist. Also Las vegas and San Francisco we loved our holiday to Califonia
