tripadvisorTHE OWNER IS RUDE AND DISRESPECTFUL! My husband and I went with 6 friends to watch the first game of the NBA Finals. After spending around $1,000, which included an automatic 20% gratuity , which they didn't earn, before the game ended, the owner came over to us, pointed to the door and rudely told us we had to leave because they were closing. He basically treated us like we were free Loaders and didn't just drop a $1,000 in his establishment and mind you, we were the only patrons in there! I LOVE NOLA, BUT THIS PLACE WILL NEVER GET MY BUSINESS AGAIN!
MoreVisited on opening night of the 2026 NBA Finals while in town for a conference. Eight of us, cigars and drinks purchased in-store. What should have been a great night was ruined by the co-owner’s dismissive attitude and complete lack of customer service from start to finish. Not a shred of warmth or professionalism — exactly the opposite of what you’d expect from a specialty cigar lounge where the experience is supposed to be part of the appeal. The double standards were impossible to ignore. We were told no outside food or drinks were allowed in the shop. Yet right in front of us, another patron was permitted to sit and drink a beverage from an outside establishment without a word from the owner. Same rules, same room — applied completely differently. That kind of favoritism is unprofessional and disrespectful to customers who played by the rules. The moment the game ended, we were abruptly told to leave. No warning. No last call. No chance to finish the cigars and drinks we had just bought. Just the same dismissive tone we’d experienced all night — and the door. And the kicker: a 20% gratuity was silently added to each bill. No signage. Nothing mentioned at the register. We only found out when we checked the receipt. We were never waited on — we ordered and paid for our drinks directly at the bar ourselves. No table service. No one checked on us. There was nothing remotely resembling service to justify an auto-tip, let alone one added with zero disclosure.New Orleans is a city built on hospitality. This place missed the mark entirely. Do not recommend.
MoreI went in at 9:45 and their sign said they close at midnight. They would not allow me to buy a cigar to smoke there and said it had to be “to go.”
MoreA great retreat for any cigar enthusiast. Good selection of quality cigars. Staff friendly and accommodating. Comfortable seating. The plus is a well stocked bar!
MoreFirst time to New Orleans and found this place. Good cigar selection and nice bar with good ventilation
