This is a century old theater in the heart of downtown. The theater has very decorative walls not seen in modern theaters. I was in town on the first Thursday of the month when the theater shows a family movie for free. They also had a cash drawing at the end of the movie. The screen is larger than at many modern multiplexes. For people with long legs, the seats can be a little cramped. I took an aisle seat and stretched into the aisle. If you go to the free movie, come early. The main floor was packed and there were people sitting in the balcony. Concession prices are reasonable with a limited selection. I paid $3 for a bag of popcorn. There was only one size. They also offer bottled beverages not cups.

Went for a play/musical event. Inside of theatre is great with not a bad seat in the house. Sound was great as well. Highly recommend.

This is a great place. It is a great place to watch a number of different events. From shows to performance to concerts. We in Rock county are so lucky to have it.

We have our monthly video of Roger Brooks. Its such a great place to have events. When you are in the building i am blown away everytime i go into the building. What an asset this is to the whole community and Sothwest Minnesota. It is a must see.

The Palace Theatre is an architectural gem and is a beacon of activity on Main Street in Luverne, MN. It is runby a very dedicated group of volunteers who continually offer the best of current movies, live musical and theatrical productions and much more variety of entertainment for the local and regional area.
