Alcuin School is a small, independent school on Queen Anne, offering preschool and prekindergarten programs for ages 2 1/2 to 5 since 2002. An intimate environment and a certified and experienced teacher allow staff to meet the individual emotional and developmental needs of each child. An exceptionally well-supplied classroom and enrichment classes with yoga and drama teachers provide the children with a rich and joyful learning experience. Preschool hours for 2’s and 3’s are Monday-Thursday, 9:30am to 12:30pm. Prekindergarten hours for 4’s and 5’s are Monday-Friday, 8:30am to 12:30pm. The half-day summer camp is available to ages 2 1/2 to 8. "The best preschool ever. Our son attended Alcuin School and we are very happy with the school. The head teacher promotes independence and teaches the children to be responsible and respectful." "Mrs. Williams is highly dedicated and experienced in child development.
