Visited this place to learn more about the culture and traditions of Tucson. It was interesting to notice a Santa Muerte situated on top of a wall far left. I did not request a wish, I wished I did. The shrine has an interesting story. (This shrine is located next to El Minuto Cafe)

I do not recommend. It is off the beaten path and a bit strange. Recommend reading the story behind the shrine before visiting.

I suppose the story behind this shrine is interesting, but it's really no different than any other shine located in Hispanic neighborhoods. If you're religious and do this type of thing then it's likely great. For someone who is not religious, visiting this site is pretty useless. It's not in a nice part of town or even in a nice park. Just a dirty part of the street next to a restaurant.

A cool little place tucked away in a neighborhood. The sentiments here are lovely and it has a cool history (there is a plaque that explains). Take a few quiet moments here, and perhaps leave a message that you can tuck into the wall.

This is a very small but special little area that is part of the National Registry and that locals still use for prayer and wishes. If you don't particularly appreciate religious shrines with historical significance, you could be underwhelmed. It's small and simple. But if you appreciate local religious culture you will probably appreciate this stop. Be sure to check out the plaque to read the cool backstory.
