Fun place to walk and/or bring a dog. Nice dog parks, plenty of scenic walkways. Nice playground, tons of tennis courts lots of parking.

Best part was the playground project donated by Taylor Swift! If you go to honey festival the only things for kids the day we went was $7 wings to paint and get the cardboard tan colored ones the white poster board will roll up after dry and you can’t get them to lay flat...two princess to take pictures with, would be better if they were sitting...a unicorn that you can take picture with that was cool! But we walked over to the playground and had more fun then the fest. We had been hoping for educational activities and they only one was the bees in the trailer. The screen had holes that bees got out of. You had gloves you could stick you hands in but they only had one set going and the line was pretty long. Little ones did not want to stand in line that long. They do have golf carts that shuttle you from your car at the high school lot to the event, which is good because we parked first available and had to go down busy street with small children and we had to park by the football field on the far side. Was hoping for educational day, but wasted a lot of time driving to and from as well as money painting wings that will be thrown away.

Tennis courts are in very good condition. Kids kingdom if fun for young children to older kids. The Hendersonville greenway extends through the park. I saw bikes, walkers, joggers and families with strollers. Also a field for fun and a dog park to let them off the leash.

The park has great walking/running trails along the lake. Good mixture of forest and lake views. It is a very pretty location and a great experience.There are ducks and other wildlife to spice up your run. Be careful! The ducks often leave presents along the sidewalks that must be avoided! Ample parking and in a great location for easy access.

Great place to visit, take a stroll around the area, walkways around the park. Local wild deer seen here. Peaceful walk.
