This was an amazing park! Didn’t expect that it went down to the riverbank. The mini waterfalls were surprising and good to see them cascading down. The flora and fauna were well cared for and it was good to see dragonflies & bees humming around. Lots of photo opportunities. The Veterans Memorial is also there to visit. We spent maybe a hour or so there walking along the river. There are trees & people were picnicking under the shade. There is a gazebo for shade.Just as a note: there is a lot of walking on uneven paths and stairs - all made of stone/rock/gravel.

We travel to Mishawaka every fall to take in the colors and bike. We love the trails and then we love the food and drink after our work outs!!!

We live very close to this park and we go here almost everyday. There is plenty of street parking available along Mishawaka Ava. directly in front of the park. This park (which connects up to Central Park) is always very clean and I have met tons of friendly people here. This is a good place for jogging, biking, dog walking, picnics, and just about any other park activity you could imagine!

What a beautiful park!! The river walk along fhe river and the scenic views. Make for an amazing day of walking with the family. The kids had a blast running and playing along the way.

In the tradition of the classic city park, Battell is a quiet refuge from the bustle of the day. Broad lawns, tall shade trees, winding walkways, pools and cascades, and peeks at the river make it an ideal retreat. The historic band shelter is a perfect setting for the free summer concerts that are family friendly. Bring blankets or chairs. Then enjoy local musicians and greet your neighbors.
