Moved into town and decided to take a look at this park as my first place to see and it was well kept and clean. However I noticed too many suspicious trucks. They’ll park then drive off. Made me very uncomfortable. Over all nice wild life and pretty view of the water.

We stopped to take in the scenery. Too many unsavory people hanging around, drinking alcohol and using dirty language.

We toured Huntington Park Beach and explored the area. It is not the cleanest area but if you are looking to see a beach, you will see sand and water and seagulls. There was no charge for this beach at the time.

The beach, of course, is on the James River. And, although it was early October, there were a few people in the water. This park is well known for its Tennis Center. I've been there multiple times in the spring when the Mills Godwin High School girl's tennis team from Henrico County was playing for the STATE Championship (and won 11 times!). There's a couple of boat ramps, which were pretty busy the day we were there. A really nice park with lots of things to do.

My daughter was badly injured yesterday. Sliced her foot open requiring almost 10 sutures on something in the sand. Dr at Patient First said it was 3rd similar case they’d seen recently from the same park. Beware!!!!!
