Left Birmingham in 2005, for Virginia, came home in 2019, boy was I in for a shock. Went Labor day 2020, to get away, What a shock the place is dead from its yesteryear. Water, dead, no many geese or ducks like it used to be A new generation has taken over who have no idea what open areas like that are for. Intimidating and unsafe. So sad.

This is a location that I enjoyed as a teenager and had the opportunity to share it with my daughter on my last trip home to Alabama.

This is a very nice park. It has a walking trail and fish. It has picnic areas and rest rooms. We have had several reunions in the area.

I have been going to this park for over 30 yrs. one lap around is a mile. Playground area for children, you can also launch non motorized boat here. There are all kind of birds, ducks, geese, at this park. This park is very beautiful

This park has a great view and I love the walking trail. Sitting on the beautiful benches and watching the geese fly in and land in the water or even when they are just walking around the park, it is just wonderful to see. There are people fishing, walking, and kids playing in the playground area. Sometimes you can even catch a little league football game or practice. The scenery is just outstanding and I love all of the upgrades.
