The Crawfest at Betty Virginia Park was a wonderful experience! It was held in March, and was a fun time for young and old alike!The were local food vendors, lots of good music by several bands. There were lots of tables and chairs for festival goers to enjoy crawfish, bbq, tacos, jambalaya, ice cream, beignets, and much, much more.You can bring lawn chairs and blankets. It's dog friendly. Dancing in the park and enjoying the music and the weather with old friends and new was just a great time all around!

Had to do a drive-thru daiquiriwhile in LA so needed to work it off before hitting the road again. This park was nearby, no i didnt drive there AFTER i drank my daiquiri, ha. Anyways, nice paved trails, manicured grass even in winter with rain threatening overhead really appreciated this serene location to stroll. Found a geocache here while we were at it. Nice little neighborhood gem if u wanna stretch your legs before a road trip.

A great neighborhood park for walking or for young children to play on equipment. Very well kept and friendly place for the family

Used by many locals for field trips,Boy Scouts, family gatherings, etc. Beautiful grounds, well-kept, easy parking, fun play area, and nice walking path. The bathrooms need to be updated, but overall, a great experience.

We went there to walk the dogs while passing through town. It's a well-maintained pretty park with paved walkways. It also has some playground equipment for small children.
