It is quite a hike to get to the fountain(s), I had planned to relax with a book. My disappointment was there is nowhere to sit, except on the steps. This made a long stay a bit uncomfortable; additionally, it is posted to please not walk in the water, how refreshing that would have been. It is worth a look but don't plan your day around it.

This gem caught my eye when stumbling toward the Civic Theatre. The trees as imposing sentries surrounding it and greenery seemed buttressed by staggered concrete walls when observing from the upward-sloping side. The overlapping concrete slabs at its base elicited a scenic stage. The rushing waters and bubbling sounds gave it that nice oasis feel from nearby traffic.

Dry as desert when I visited this place. Maybe it was because of the season (winter)? No clear sign was available why it was down or when it would be restored. Disappointing.

Nice fountain area in the midst of the city. It was a nice spot to rest for a bit on a warm day. There are several different levels to explore and that provide different viewing points.

The water was not on when we went to this park. The park was near the area of protests so we don't know if the water was shut off because of that or because it was after Labor Day. We found many of the attractions that we wanted to see closed down after Labor Day as it was the end of summer.
