tripadvisorFabulous views across long beach and stunning sunset. Parking is limited to street parking.
MoreA group of us drove to a park in this nice community at 6 pm to attend the first of Signal Hill’s 2023 Concerts in the Park series live band performance starting at 630. Pleasantly surprised that parking was relatively easy. Nice grounds layout: spacious area flanked by tall trees providing shade, clean and level lawn to set up tables for pre-show potluck dinner and chairs commanding good view of the stage. Very relaxing atmosphere to enjoy a superb performance by the Cold Duck band, amplified by a fantastic sound system. Lots of dancing in front of the stage. These summer concerts will be our weekly go-to entertainment: Fleetwood Mac tribute next week, followed by Motown! We appreciate that we didn’t have to drop off chairs in the AM to save spots, like for concerts in our community. And the classy trailer restrooms sure beat the porta potties!
MoreHilltop Park offers one of the best views in the L.A. area. The smoke signal in the center of the park alludes to the long history which inspired the naming of the city. Picnic tables, public restrooms and paved walking paths at the park make it an enjoyable spot to visit.
MoreWow, what a view! Great spot for sunset or a walk at sunset. Usually see quite a few people around, but don't plan on going for the 4th of July. Either too crowded or will be closed because of the crowds. Awesome spot.
MoreIf you happen to be in the Long Beach area, Hilltop Park is a must-visit place! The view is amazing. On a clear day, you can even see the Hollywood sign from a distance. It's a nice place to make your kids run around and enjoy the fresh air. Tip: bring a car! You'll definitely be out of breath if you decide to hike Signal Hill hehe
