Worst place I ever stayed in. Fake 5-star reviews for sure. Would never recommend this hotel. Offered us a Free upgrade - an unworkable fridge and microwave. Hotel Phone completely dead, remote for TV didn't work, nor did the manual TV buttons, could turn the TV on but couldn't change the channel. Mattresses had original plastic packaging. yuk. No cabinets, no lamps, no closet or washroom door. INTERNET EXTREMELY SLOW, had to use my iPhone hotspot. Filthy heating mechanism. Water leak evidence on the ceiling. Overall there is nothing positive to say except the door locked. Good riddance the experience is over.

We are over the moon excited with this place! VERY clean rooms. Love the suites. The fact that we can put the kids in the living area with their own bathroom was an added bonus! Love the attention to details they put into making our stay the very best. The hot breakfast was just an extra surprise!

The Sooner Suites are a terrific place to stay if you're either an Oklahoma Sooner or a visitor. Probably not if you're an Oklahoma State Cowboys lover. The suites are brick, two-bedroom duplex cottages on-campus, between the dormitories and the law school. They look like they were last-furnished in the 1980s, but they've been kept up well and the decor is amazing. Our suite (#401) was covered in framed Sooner jerseys, paintings, blankets, and even a scrapboard from the 2000 National Championship. The full kitchen had a stool emblazoned with the OU logo, and the trash cans were OU-branded. This is not generic lodging; you know where you are staying. The rooms are rentable by the night to unaffiliated visitors, which describes our family, but you get the sense there are designed to be medium-term housing for visiting scholars and the like. It's comfy. The rest of the university surrounds you. Campus Corner is a fifteen-minute walk across campus. The free breakfast is nothing special, but Blake at the the front desk is super-helpful and friendly. Great, unique place to stay.

We love the Sooner Suites, returning every year for our family visit to Norman, OK. They are comfortable places to rest weary bodies, with the extra benefit of being within walking distance of the Sam Noble museums, Fred Jones art gallery, Campus Corner, baseball and softball (and other sports), and OU campus facilities. A friendly welcome is guaranteed, and if the nearby frat houses kick off, Norman Police are happy to 'have a word'.

well i have to give this place props in terms of celebrating OU. Sooner memorabilia is EVERYWHERE. Pictures/yearbooks, and it would seem rooms are dedicated to individual players in OU history. As a Kansas State fan it's a bit much, but I was in their town, so I can't fault them very much. The staff was amazingly friendly, restaurant was good and the bar nice. My king room was plenty big, seemed clean and very comfortable. the WiFi worked flawlessly, but the hotel wasn't very busy either. The location is good, but the current roadwork on Lindsey, makes getting there interesting. It's proximity to OU is well worth the stay for school events, and there is lots going on within a short walk or drive of it's location. I would definitely stay here again and again.
