Stayed at Pirate's Cove which was a great little hotel overlooking the marina. Had good bars and live music. Price for the hotel was good but the food & drink in the area was very high in my opinion ($7 beers add up quick). Good laid back atmosphere with friendly people from all walk of life. Crowds were manageable but, like most coastal areas, everything is tight and crowded, it can get overwhelming. There was an event downtown but forget about parking, not even remotely possible. We skipped it because of the massive crowd.Staff was awesome, the bartenders were amazing and friendly.

This park was one of the first places I was shown after moving to the area. I LOVED the boardwalk and the relaxing view. The November 2022 hurricane damaged the boardwalk. I went back to the park a few weeks ago (Feb 2023) and the boardwalk was still closed off for repairs. Gladly I would rank this 5* if the repairs are done.

Two rivers join together for a view of the most magnificent boats. Clean and nice breeze. Bathrooms are clean

Have been there for a child’s birthday. Lots of space for big parties, There is a huge sprinkler system made just for the kids to run around in. It’s clean and well taken care of. You’re in for an enjoyable treat when you go there. Have been there several times and have always found it to be enjoyable.

I love this park. the restrooms are always clean and tidy. The grounds are well taken care of. They have tables, play are, fishing and trails. Lovely place.
