I grew up in Reno and this was my childhood museum. I used to do camps here and my kids currently do them during the summer: it is AMAZING. If your kids are older, I would definetly reccomend doing a sleepover at the Discovery for their b-day with their friends. It's a hit!

What a fantastic experience! The Discovery Museum in Reno exceeded our expectations. The interactive exhibits kept our kids entertained for hours, and there’s something for every age to enjoy. The staff were welcoming, everything was spotless, and we all left smiling and talking about our favorite parts. Definitely a highlight of our trip to Reno!

I knew this museum would have a lot to offer for children, but I didn't realize it was completely geared towards children. My boyfriend and I are both 60ish and were looking for something fun and interesting to do on a Sunday afternoon. This really was not what we were thinking it would be, and we were very disappointed at the $30 admission fee for an hour spent with toddlers and small children. I love children, but this place should definitely advertise itself as a Children's Discovery Museum. I will say that my grandchildren in another state would have really enjoyed it here.

Literally for all ages. My 14 year old stayed busy 3+ hours and well as his dad. Science, hands on, arts and crafts, puzzles. Lots to do. Great for little kids too.

We had a blast at The Discovery! There were so many hands-on activities. Our children did not want to leave! We especially enjoyed the room with the life-size Scrabble Board and Electronic Etch-a-Sketch. We highly recommend this museum!
