This is an excellent tour for the price point. This home features a mix of authentic and recreated decor. The guide informed us that the home is decorated for the winter holidays.

Very interesting historical site. We took a guided tour which allowed us to see the interior of the estate and hear some of the history. Beautiful gardens as well.

I stopped by since it was right around the corner from the Worcester Art Museum. Got a private tour since no one else was there. If you are not from the area, and unfamiliar with federalist architecture, its worth a visit. Its interesting to see a house that was built in the 1700's but there aren't a lot of original furnishings. That could be that the house became a store and served other purposes over its history. The tour guide provided a good overview of the history of the home and family that lived there. Worth a stop if you are in the area. The overall tour took about 20 minutes.

Very interesting presentation by the friendly, knowledgeable guide. Small group allowed for conversation and questions. Our guide provided information about the history of Worcester as well as many facts about one of its most prominent families. I highly recommend this tour.

We had free passes for this house tour, we were not expecting much. We were pleasantly surprised by how interesting this tour was. Small, obscure property, with an interesting history and artifacts. I would bring visiting family and friends to this place.
