tripadvisorThis hotel has an illegal and discriminatory policy, charging anyone with a disability that needs to travel with a medical service dog, an extra $250 hold charge on the room. They do not charge this to anyone else. I tried explaining to the front desk and manager, this is not a legal practice under ADA laws. I even showed them on the website where it says this is not a legal practice. The manager's only response is, they are privately owned so they can charge what they want. I almost always exclusively stay at Hilton's specifically because I usually don't have issues with my medical service dog.... I will def never stay there again and I don't know if I want to stay at another Hilton after this.
MoreGood nights stay. Clean room, nice beds friendly service. Highway noise was only reason not 5 stars
MoreLittle things add up to the point that Hampton Inns (HI) are no longer on out ‘A’ list.Although not the worst HI, this HI also did not meet our expectations. The facility and room was clean, it’s in in a nice area, and our room was quiet unlike the couple who had a barking dog problem. The a/c was a little loud but it wasn’t doing death throes like some rooms we’ve been in so that wasn’t an issue However: We wondered why there was a printer sitting all by itself in the breakfast area. We found out when we asked where the business center computer was. The printer is the business center! You are supposed to use your cell phone for whatever it is you need and then use the printer. I’m sorry but a cell phone is a very poor substitute for an actual computer. Printing via your cell phone and the ‘business center’ is the first QR code situation. In the room you will find a placard with a QR code to do your housekeeping tips. Sorry I don’t pay ANYTHING with my cell phone. The hotel guest directory is another QR code. There is a guest laundry with one washer and dryer for the entire building. The washer has been broken for a while waiting for parts. The staff pointed that there is a local laundromat in the area but that doesn’t work well when the plan was to do laundry while packing the rest of your stuff in the room. There was no stopper in the sink so if you need a pool of water for shaving or whatever you’re out of luck. If you drop anything smaller than the 1 ½ inch drain it’s gone!Same thing for the bathtub.Housekeeping is every few days like during COVID but they at least come into the room. There’s no room safe although my wife noticed a sign about boxes at the desk.Breakfast was edible but somewhat blah to us. We’ve had better at competitor's hotels. Then there was the bacon bandit (not HI’s fault). He ate nothing but bacon. He’d fill up a bowl after picking through the tray, walk around eating it and then get another bowl and start all over. He did that several times. All in all this seems to be Hilton’s version of shrinkflation.
MoreWe stayed for 3 nights. Our room was a king bed that was very comfortable. The room was of good size with a nice sized bathroom. The room itself was very clean as was the rest of the hotel. At check in the gentleman was very polite, very friendly and professional. The breakfast was very good, a bigger selection than most hotels we have stayed at. The lady who took care of the breakfast area kept it stocked quite well and kept it very clean. The hotel is located about a block off I 95 for convenience, but you really don't notice any noise from the interstate. Restaurants, grocery stores and shopping area are all within a mile or two.We will be back.
MoreThe hotel was in the perfect location if you are going to Brevard Zoo, literally right next to the Zoo! The hotel was clean and as a solo woman traveling, I felt safe. The hotel has a restaurant right next to it that you can walk to. Overall, it was a nice hotel to stay at.
