tripadvisorI stayed at this hotel tonight and was very disappointed with how the staff handled their pet policy. I travel often for both business and pleasure and have always had great experiences at other Hilton locations, including one just last week that was extremely pet‑friendly. They welcomed pets, and many guests had them. The atmosphere and attitude there were completely different. At this location, I paid the pet fee and signed a list of reasonable rules — including the standard one that pets aren’t allowed in the on‑site restaurant. Since most restaurants don’t allow pets, that rule makes perfect sense. But then I was told I couldn’t leave my dog unattended in the room, an unwritten and unexpected rule I had never encountered at any Hilton. This created a genuine guest dilemma: how exactly was I supposed to get dinner while keeping my pet with me?I understand that policies can sometimes conflict with one another — that happens. But what made this situation unacceptable was the dismissive attitude of both the manager and the clerks. Instead of helping me navigate an unwritten rule that put me in an impossible position, they offered unrealistic suggestions that someone traveling and unfamiliar with the area couldn’t reasonably follow, and made snide remarks rather than trying to assist.Because the rule wasn’t written anywhere, they eventually allowed me to leave my chihuahua in the room as long as he didn’t disturb anyone. Still, the experience was disappointing enough that I canceled my reservation scheduled for two weeks later. Enforcing policies is one thing, but making light of a guest’s dilemma caused by an unwritten rule — and responding with dismissive customer service — is simply poor hospitality.
MoreI stayed at the hotel for 2wks for a business trip and I was treated so kindly! The staff at the restaurant treated me exceptionally well specifically Sophia and Ernesto , my food was perfect every time and service was always a 10/10. My server in the morning, I apologize I forgot her name but she was the sweetest kindest person. One of her arms was in a sling and that never stopped the superb service she gave me every morning! I will truly miss the restaurant staffing. Thank you Hilton for having me!
MoreThe hotel was clean and well maintained. However, my main desire is a good night's sleep. It was the worst bed I have had in years and not what I expected from a Hilton. It was hard and uncomfortable, At about $250 for one night, I expected much better. I used a Best Western for about half the price for the next night I needed and had a much better bed, And sleep. I might add that my Kiurig did not work, but that was minor compared to the bed.
MoreI don’t usually leave reviews but felt I had to based on my experience during the government shutdown. I travel for business every week. I’ve never been treated this poorly a Hilton brand. I was supposed to check in Sunday but my flight was affected my traffic control as many others were. I got to the hotel between 1-2 am. The front desk Frank receptionist was clearly bothered that I showed up at that hour. (Not like I had a choice) He declined checking me even though rooms were available! I confirmed this the following morning after speaking to the hotel manager Katie. She said she left very clear notes on my reservation in case I did show up after hours and all he needed to do was change the check in date. He even spoke to my travel agent over the phone and told her everything was good and he’d check me in. When I approached him he changed what he said. He was going to send me away into the cold knowing I was tired and needed rest for work the next day. He said my new check in was the next day at 3pm. Then he said “let me see if I can open a closed room” After I called him out on his behavior and his lies he “magically” had a room after all. Shame on this behavior and poorest customer service especially for a diamond member or anyone. No one deserves this treatment. Pure laziness and disgrace to humanity. I still had to run into him during the week and made my stay very uncomfortable. This morning he was sitting in the dinning area with another customer when he should’ve been tending to all the customers needing him to be up there. I overheard him talking about the Bible with the customer. He said to “be like Jesus”. I nearly threw up! He surely DID not treat me like Jesus that evening.
MoreThe room was good. What you would expect from a Hilton Garden Inn. Lighting, bed, pillows great. The restaurant seem to suffer from a designer that appointed it to impress other designers. Half of the chairs and tables were impractical and uncomfortable due to odd design. Thus reducing the actual capacity. Moreover it was hard light and harsh colors, making it seem more like an industrial cafeteria or lunch room. That said, the restaurant staff both for dinner and breakfast was outstanding. Great service and the food was good. Too bad they are forced to provide five star service in fast food decor.
