Terrible experience. Do not rent from this company. They should not be in business.Where do I even begin? We booked this rental through Expedia, and the problems started immediately. The shuttle took an unreasonably long time to arrive. When it finally did, we were taken to an off-site location in what appeared to be a defunct hotel. Loud, upbeat music was playing—as if you’d arrived at a Caribbean vacation. Record scratch. From there, it all went downhill.Inside, there was only one person working the desk and a long line of frustrated customers. We were instructed to scan a QR code to upload our driver’s license information. However, because the reservation was made through Expedia, the system would not allow us to log in or upload anything.They then required us to upload insurance information(as many other reviewers have also noted). When we explained that the app would not work, we were told that if we couldn’t upload the information ourselves, they could not help us. No alternatives were offered.Meanwhile, all other major rental car companies are conveniently located on site at the Jacksonville, Florida airport—something we very much regretted not choosing. In the end, we gave up, took an Uber, and did not rent a car at all some ensuring was booked. Now we are left having to fight for a refund from this extremely unprofessional operation.Avoid this company at all costs.

1/2 wait from airport to ez office + 15 minutes drive. Had reservations but, there was no car available. Three other parties at the office also had no cars available. A person at the waiting area told us good luck, as he also had no cars available last time he used service. Cancelled our reservation and hitched ride back to airport and rented from enterprise..don’t waste your time.

BE AWARE AND DONT RENT HERE: Once I arrive to the office they tried to make me pay extra $300 for liability insurance even though I had my own insurance with Progressive, so they rude guy at the counter decided to cancel my reservation. I called them in advance to make sure my own Progressive insurance would be covering the trental and they said YES, so it looks like the guy at the counter wanted to make extra money by forcing me to buy this insurance. Since I declined it, he was so rude and decided to cancel my booking. I had to call 911 and report it to the police, but still had to rent a car somewhere else.This is always a terrible experience, specially when traveling with kids.While waiting for the police to come I saw another customers having similar issues.

Jacksonville,FL Intl. airport, offsite rental. They won't let you rent without your proof of insurance, which I did not know so had left it in car at home in glove compartment. Called AAA and fortunately was able to let them speak with EZ rent representative. When returned the car, the shuttle did not show up so we, and another customer had to Uber back to airport. Was told it happens sometimes.
