The Market Common is located on a former Air Force base and it features more than 40 different stores, both brands you know as well as those only found in Myrtle Beach. Some of the shops and restaurants include the popular PF Chang's China Bistro, Travinia Italian Kitchen, Orvis Company, Soma, Pottery Barn and more. There is plenty of parking, and the children's playground alongside the tree-lined greenbelts gives this stylish shopping center a cozy neighborhood feel.

Reviews
tripadvisorEach year, during our Myrtle Beach visit, we spend a day or two enjoying the Market Common area. This year, we had the added pleasure of having some friends accompanying us, during one of our explorations. The area continues to offer an interesting and unique selection of shops and eateries, from which to focus one's attention. The architecture, landscaping and blending of residential/commercial provides a pleasant counterpoint to some of the more touristy/flamboyant aspects of the Myrtle Beach ambiance (not that those aspects of the area, don't have an appeal of their own).Being mid-week, off-season added to the laid-back feel of our shared experience. The Grand Strand provides a variety of engaging communities to experience & explore; Market Common is certainly one not to be missed.
MoreSome really nice shops and restaurants here. Also a cinema. Great for a few hours. Lots of free parking too.One of the shop owners recommended Toffinos restaurant. We weren’t disappointed.
MoreArea was very pretty and nice to walk around. It seemed to be little high end shopping. The uncommon chocolatier was a nice store with friendly staff. Bought some flavored cotton candy buckets for the grandkids.
MoreThe Market Common is a dynamic and vibrant destination that offers a delightful mix of shopping, dining, and entertainment. This charming area has quickly become a local favorite and a must-visit spot for visitors looking to experience the best of Myrtle Beach beyond the beachLocated just a 15-minute drive from the beach and right across from the state park, it's conveniently close to many of the area’s main attractions. The Market Common district has emerged as one of the most coveted places to live along the Grand Strand (aka Myrtle Beach). Among the top three new communities in Market Common are Meridian, Belle Harbor, and The Battery, each offering its own distinct appeal and lifestyle.
MoreWe visited the market common to just get away from the craziness at the beach. It was a very pleasant surprise. The shops were quite nice and there were several restaurants to choose from. We liked the place so much we went back with our ebikes and explored the entire area. It was a fun day.
