tripadvisorLove the Museum!!! So many artifacts from Native American History!!! So many arrowheads, just amazing to see all the history!
MoreFrom the welcoming call of Tusker (mammoth skeleton) right inside the door through the halls of displays of Native American artifacts, this is a museum well worth the visit. There is so much to look at. It is well laid out. The facility is neat and clean. There are various displays and videos beyond the artifacts themselves from Native American clothing, pottery, weapons, and just about anything you can imagine. There is no admission fee, but donations are welcome. There is a small gift area, also.
Moremuseum was wonderful, and informative. the original artifacts were amazing. the staff was very friendly and helpful. highly recommend. jeannie
MoreOne of the best organized museums I have seen. Very few have surprised me with arraying artifacts and facts in a way that leads to new understanding of prehistoric to modern traditions the way this one has.
MoreThe museum isn't very big, but it is PACKED full of artifacts and information displays, beginning from the hunting of mammoths and going all the way to the 21st century. You can spend hours studying the relics. The museum staff are very friendly and helpful and it has a surprisingly large gift shop that has something for everyone with extremely reasonable prices.
