What a lovely quiet campus. We came to see the historic (pre-Civil War) buildings and the chapel that was relocated brick-by-brick from England. Everyone we met was very friendly. This was a nice day trip from KC.
MoreWe were attending the soccer nationals at Baker University yesterday. Shortly after the second half started a group of young men, students at Baker University, sat in front of us and acted very disrepectful and unsportsman like. They yelled at the opposing Oregan team by name and number mocking them and calling them names. They mocked the Oregon coaches. This went on for the rest of the game. They were very loud. The very disappointing part is that not a Single Baker University coach or professor stopped this. At one point a lady, with a Baker Athletic jacket on, walked over and talked and laughed with the young men. This is a very poor image for Baker University.
MoreWe have visited Baker University 3 times from Australia to see our son who was on a basketball scholarship. He graduated recently and it was a very joyous but again sad occasion as he would be leaving for his next life adventure. We were made to feel so welcome every time.Thank you Baker community
MoreBaker is a very pretty, out of the way University. It is very lovely campus with plenty of home town appeal. The student body is very small and it is very enjoyable to just stroll around the campus. Looks like a great place to get a liberal arts education.
MoreI visited and strolled around the campus while visiting.a friend who lives there. It is a lovely campus, with buildings that remind me of some of the Ivy's in the Northeast.
